A Zombie Outbreak
Zombies smash through doors, players who die get back up infected, and fast red-glowing crawlers join later in the round. The threat is other players turning, not just the first wave.
| The banner says | “What if a zombie outbreak happens?” |
|---|---|
| Hazard type | Biological |
| Where it hits | Any map, indoors and streets |
| How to survive | Keep a door between you and the street, and never stand next to someone who is about to go down - the infected turn fast. Open ground with a group is worse than a closed room alone. |
How the round plays out
- 1.Zombies start breaking through doors instead of waiting outside them.
- 2.Players who die get back up infected, so the crowd turns against itself as the round goes on.
- 3.Fast red-glowing crawlers join later, which is when holding a doorway stops working.
Where it kills you: Doorways and groups. A door buys time against the first wave and nothing against crawlers, and standing beside someone who is about to turn is how a safe room becomes a death trap.
What to do in the 30-second head start
- ›Pick a room with one entrance and a second way out.
- ›Keep space from other players instead of clustering at the door.
- ›Count the crawlers when they appear — that is the signal to abandon the room, not defend it harder.
If you are already caught out: Leave the room before the crawlers box you in. Running into the street is survivable; being cornered indoors is not.
Worst maps for it: Suburban Neighborhood — enclosed houses with single doors are the trap, and the streets give crawlers room to run.
Surviving is half preparation and half knowing the map — see the map list and the round guide for the 30-second head start.
Other disasters
The Moon Falls
The moon drops toward Earth in stages. The sea first surges in and out, burning chunks fall from the sky, and gravity weakens until loose objects and players start lifting off the ground.
The Sun Disappears
A permanent deep freeze sets in while the power grid fails. The map goes dark and cold rather than being torn apart, so the round is lost to exposure in the open rather than to one big hit.
A 500 m Mega Tsunami
A wave that grows as it approaches and drags players off the coast. The water arrives later than the warning does, so the 30-second head start is the entire survival window.
Earth Enters a Mega Storm
A storm that tracks wind speed as it builds — the HUD climbs toward 150 KM/H — and then starts roping out tornadoes. The banner's own name for the late stage is that the storm never ends.
Earth Completely Freezes
Snow starts falling and the temperature keeps dropping until the oceans freeze solid. Buildings give out from the cold rather than from a wave, so the round is a shelter round with collapsing cover.
Earth Loses Its Atmosphere
Windows break, the wind tears loose everything not fixed, the sun burns without protection and the oceans boil. With no air pressure there is no sound, which removes the usual audio warning.
