What If Disasters beginner guide
The short version of a round, in the order it happens. There are no codes to redeem here - rewards come from the shop and crates you pay for with credits.
1. The round loop, in order
Lobby wait shows a NEXT DISASTER countdown next to the shop, settings, crates and leaderboards. Stand on the central pad before that timer hits zero - players on the pad are the ones who get loaded. Loading prints ENTERING SIMULATION, the map spawns you with DISASTER IN 00:30, and the disaster itself is only named when that countdown ends.
2. Use the 30 seconds, don't spend it
Warm-up time is free movement, not free loot. On Suburban Neighborhood you can open garages and drive cars, and vehicles carry several players - but a ride is not guaranteed. The habit that survives rounds is using the head start to be somewhere defensible before the banner names the hazard.
3. Read the banner, not the map
Disaster and map are chosen separately: the same map can host different scenarios, and the 'What if...?' banner is the only thing that tells you what is coming. Twenty-two scenarios have been recorded in-game, from a moon fall to a solar flare, and each one rewards a different position - up for water, indoors for the sun and the flare.
4. What credits are for
Surviving pays credits, and credits buy equipment in the lobby shop. Crates are the other sink. Game passes are the Robux shortcut and are not required to survive rounds - several recorded rounds were won with starter equipment by moving early.
5. If you die
Dead players spectate until the results banner, which reads X OF Y SURVIVED and lists survivors and casualties. Use that time on the next map instead of the current one: the disaster has already been decided.
